June 28, 2016 - Wishful thinking this could go 11years. Old SLH are drink now.

May 30, 2015 - Nose of dark red fruits and a hint of mustiness.

The dark red fruit flavors (black cherry, cranberry) are fading a bit with some damp earth and black tea. The acidity is quite noticeable on the palate. Medium- body with tannins are noticeable but not intrusive. Finishes medium+.

The musty nose detracts for me; I don't think it's TCA as it's not present on the palate. The fading fruit means the acid takes center stage; so recommend consuming with food at this stage of the wine's evolution. Drink now.

April 25, 2015 - Great Pinot, still drinking well considering it's an 05.

March 10, 2015 - This wine has the character of a much younger wine. Great fruit source for the Miner Family. Flavors of red fruits and cranberry, firm tannins, and lingering finish.
