February 15, 2024 - Early, early, early! Dark fruit, more oak than I was expecting but not out of balance. Strong tannin and a deep, dark finish that hangs on the palate like a bat at midnight. Wait at least ten years before opening another one…maybe 20. I hope I live long enough to enjoy it at its apogee.

May 16, 2023 - An incredible wine too young to be drunk now. Powerful mouth and nose a lot of red and black berries with superb and long finishing. A great Sangiovese expression that needs at least 15 years to reach maturity.

This is made for the long haul. IT ..does have a fruit component and 15% alcohol. Will this wine be able to balance out the huge tannins and when is the big question? The other question is who are they making this wine for? I may not be around to drink this when and if it matures.
