April 28, 2022 - This ended up being a pleasant surprise tonight; enjoyed with leftover, roasted, boneless leg of lamb. Shows pronounced aromatics and a complex flavor profile: dried red flowers; eucalyptus and mint; spicy red currant, dried cherries, ripe plums; old shoe leather and powdered cocoa; gravel mixed with red earth, red iron ore. Structure is mostly integrated with lingering tannin. Early stages of maturity, unlikely to improve with further cellaring, but also has another 4-5 years left in its drinking window.

November 10, 2021 - Austere , dry, and tanic. Sour cherries and menthol. If I could turn back time and buy this wine again I will never do it. It is great for 29.99 not for 99.99. It is not a bad wine, just a wine that it is not my style and not fun at all.

December 30, 2020 - This '06 is drinking extremely well right now and went incredibly well with our leftover prime rib seared on the grill. The mid-palate dominates with a big dose of leather. The medium tannic dry finish is tasty and smooth, just a little short.

February 12, 2020 - Open n decant in bottle for 3 hours. And then decant for sediment. Very smooth. No heat. Very enjoyable

May 15, 2018 - Tar, forest floor, licorice and some berries on the nose. Medium to long finish, strawberry and blackberry. Chewy Tannins. Complex, good
