November 11, 2022 - Decanted back into bottle, seriously dark color on this while decanting. Aromas of lilacs and ripe plum with good amount of spice from oak barrels. Dark color opaque in glass. Drinking this lovely Cabernet, you are treated to raspberry and ripe dark plums with hints of cocoa. Medium + finish accentuated with elegant tannins. This will only get better with age, drinks quite nice now with a double decant.

August 22, 2022 - Pepper crusted strip steak. Fresh fig and creamy goat cheese salad with balsamic reduction, grilled shiitake mushroom. I.e. meal deserving a good red
2 hour vigorous decant. As advertised. Velvet, fine tannin, non-overpowering vanilla. All good. A longer finish would have made the wine really fancy. Without it...it was very good. Needed the decant2 people found this helpful Comment
