  July 10, 2023 - PnP. Pungent nose of dark fruit, smoky meat, charcoal, and oak. Dark cherry wrapped in smoked ham, bacon fat, chicory, and bitter herbs. Light pepper on the finish with tacky tannins, dry black cherry, and bitter orange peel followed by lingering oak. Better with food.

  May 27, 2023 - P&P; paired with lamb and orzo. Drinking great, with lots of black and blue fruit, funk, smoked meat and pepper. Outstanding stuff! Drink now - 2032+.

  May 25, 2023 - Tasted after 90 minutes of air. Big meaty dark berry fruit. Savory. Drying tannins provide balance. An excellent wine.

  March 12, 2023 - This was lighter bodied than I expected (and hoping for) with dark fruits, pepper, cedar, with a touch of plum and vanilla on the back end. Tasted over 4 hours. I favored the 2014 vintage that I had 1 month ago. Will see how this wine develops in future bottles.
