May 2, 2024 - Deep dark reddish-purple in color. Full, forward, & fragrant aromas of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, blackberries & some cassis with overtones of dusty/earthy & floral notes, spices, mint, herbs, cocoa, minerals & a hint of oak/vanilla in the background. Full bodied with a good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of dark cherries, blackberries & plums with cocoa, herbs, minerals & a hint of vanilla/oak. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present with decanting & extended airing but should develop further with additional aging.
