August 6, 2022 - Cola on the nose. Pleasant tannins, dark fruit. Once the wine warmed up to room temp from cellar, it got a little hot due to high alcohol. Unfortunately, second day was a washout, taking on a chemical flavor. A good wine for the price, but drink it all on day 1.

February 21, 2021 - Pleasantly surprised after a few Argentina clunkers. Very nice nose, earthy and berries. On the palate prominent spices of currant and black pepper with the slightest hint of dark skinned fruit, very nice. Dry upfront, very low acidity with a long peppery finish. 1 hr decant and additional time in glass did wonders. Typically pair with Mexican dishes. Does not keep well opened past 1st day, 8 to 12hr drinking window. Excellent for the price.
