February 3, 2022 - Good lively fruity Gamay with savoury earthiness coming in to balance nicely; that's straight out of the bottle. Within 10 or so minutes in the glass it became a fairly generic but pleasant Morgon though I tend to expect a little more from a Côte du Py. Not convinced time will add much to this.
It's certainly Ok. James is right though, there's better out there. -

June 12, 2021 - Medium intensity nose, the cherry pops out immediately, though followed by some cassis and slight earthy notes. A very fruity wine, with low tannins as expected. The red fruits are very dominant but are accompanied nicely by the acidity, which immediately after opening was a bit muted. Don't hesitate to serve cold. Overall, a good, respectable example of Morgon, but even better can be found even at this price point
