    August 4, 2018 - Pale lemon straw
    Very fine bubble stream.
    Very straight-sided cork.
Biscuitty nose with lots of zesty notes
Immediately full flavoured. Nicely rounded and again biscuitty. Some ripe black fruit lends a certain richness.
Nice and easy drinking, but also with plenty of interest. Impressive stuff, and great value.

March 14, 2016 - There are some great supermarket champagnes out there but Booths and Duval Leroy are leading the way in quality.

The NV is an extremely pleasant, fresh and elegant wine. At less than £20 (if you're a Booths card holder) it represents great value for money. I think Andrew Stevenson has summed up the wine extremely well in his 3 reviews.

On the nose, there are pleasing citrus, pear, apple and brioche flavours. It's a moderately bold wine but with definite elegance. On the palate, the brioche flavours continue with the addition of dark fruits. Very good complexity and a pleasing finish. A strong 91 from me.

However, the real star of the show is the Booths Vintage from 2006 and someone needs to create a cellartracker page for this. It's an excellent wine and it's not surprising that it's won numerous awards including the International Wine Challenge in 2014. This wine improves every time I drink it.

It's complex and yet extremely elegant with a beautiful biscuit nose and concomitant flavours of lemon and grapefruit. Wonderful finish. This is almost certainly a 93 from me and superior to 2006 vintages from Moët et Chandon and Laurent Perrier.

Keep up the great work Booths and Duval Leroy!

January 1, 2016 - Mid lemony straw. Vigorous, persistent stream of tiny bubbles. Brioche and blackberry fruit on the nose. Quite big on the palate, open and rounded. Nice richness, with buttery and black fruit character. Two years since purchase, but it's not developed much, still with a pleasant richness, an acidity that's well in check and a pleasing maturity. I wonder if the current bottling has the same maturity, or whether this first batch (this wine first appeared on Booths' shelves in 2013) was Duval Leroy releasing some more mature bottles? (The corks have all been very straight too.)
Whatever, it's a delicious champagne, and very, very drinkable with great enjoyment.

January 1, 2014 - Very good, fine bubble stream. Mid straw colour. Good nose: brioche and black fruits. Crisp palate. Some freshness, but also some richness and a feel of a nice bit of age. There's a nice depth and some complexity. Finishes very well and very cleanly, with none of the overbearing acidity of many mass market NV champagnes.
    Very impressive.

December 19, 2013 - Chardonnay & Pinot Noir it says. A bit lively. Very fine, elegant bubble stream. Very, very pale straw. Attractive pear-y, brioche nose. Really delicious palate. Creamy, buttery, brioche flavours with some black fruits giving extra character. This is an absolutely terrific NV that knocks all the big names well and truly into a cocked hat. Ready to drink now, too (though note this is from a half). Very, very impressed.
