July 24, 2021 - Tasted blind. Really nice density and weight. Refined, beautiful wine. Balanced, powerful. Love the acidity profile. Peppery, lively, meaty.

September 12, 2020 - Decanted 30 minutes and this was singing. Out of the bottle this had a nose of a ripe Bordeaux but with more air even more new world profile along with some Rhone elements on the nose. Ripe, lush and expansive with round tannins on the finish that were great for about 2 hours. At the later stages they dried just a bit but in total this was a great wine, more modern in style than I expected, but still really high quality and i wish i had more. Would be drinking now. A

December 28, 2019 - Very nice Tempranillo.
Medium-high alcohol, quite tannic. Oak, vanilla and blackberry. Needs some time to open up. -

February 26, 2016 - A quite nice surprise. Modern Rioja expression here but very elegant and balanced too. The fruit is still very much healthy, the oak remain ants are subtle and the structure of the wine is very solid. It lacks the complexity and depth expected at this level of wine ( I've we expected a lot more) but still this is an elegant and well made wine. Feels like it's to be drunk sooner than later. 93
