April 17, 2023 - I have had the 2016 and now the 2018, just ordered the 2019. Not sure why this vintage is rated so low on CT. 2 hour decant, and this was a great wine. The 2019 scores much higher in CT so I am looking forward to that wine also. Jean Hoefliger just does not put his name on mediocre stuff!

June 10, 2022 - Standard sort of Cabernet Sauvignon. Was told it has consulting winemaker Jean Hoefliger "Alpha Omega" and so the bar was high.
I got more chocolate than blackberry at the start and a rather high degree of tannin at the mid palette which lasted through the finish shutting down and more fruit notes. Harsh drinking wine which needs something to smooth the edges, Not sure if the wood here is to blame. -

December 20, 2020 - Extracted, rich, oaky, deeply fruited. Checks every box for a typical steakhouse cab but nothing jumps out either. Can a wine be generically good? At the $30 Last Bottle price, it can!
