April 26, 2023 - Excellent profile and drinking really well right now.
On opening, shows aromatics much more typical of a mid-range St. Julien than anything from the Central Coast, with good red fruit (berries, currants, and plum) and judicious barrel notes.
On the palate red fruit forward, with notes of cocoa and tobacco leaf aft. Long finish continues the red fruit theme, with a note of incense.1 person found this helpful Comment
