  October 21, 2022 - Double decanted back into bottle. A whiff of decanter provided a good clue how delicious this mountain Cabernet would be. Dark fruit with hefty oak spice. Color is dark garnet in the glass. Aromas of dark fruit, nutmeg and spice fill your nostrils. Flavors of red and dark fruits in a tug of war it seems on a long finish. Mountain fruit and tannins balanced with modest acidity all glide together. This wine is just starting to knit together in my opinion at 4 years from vintage. 11 bottles left from this original $168 case price. Pinch myself this was only $14 a bottle.

  August 9, 2021 - Pleasant but not complex at the moment. Big Oak, big fruit, and strong acid but not much more at the moment. I hope this continues to develop.

  May 13, 2021 - This wine is integrating the oak very well, and is continuing its development. Dark black fruits are sweet on the nose with floral notes.
