  January 6, 2024 - Not sure the high rating of this wine at this stage is warranted. It is too young.
  
  Could describe it as aloof, remote and cool - reminds me of an English banker. It is very youthful and yes, the structure and fruit are there to be something good in the future but ain't so sure it is going to be stunner. Lovely acidity and very suave with notes of citrus, lime etc. Beware of the hype!
  
  Drink in 5+ years to 2045+.

  April 14, 2022 - Wonderful balance. Sweet apricots, citrus, minerality. Smooth and oily. Some latent CO2 causes a slight fizz in the mouth on first taste. Likely that will dissipate as this ages. This has an amazing future ahead of it. Great to try it young with such vibrant sweet fruit but will probably hold off on the rest of the case for at least a decade. Delicious now but so much potential.

  September 7, 2021 - bright light yellow color, at first opening on the nose and palate an intense sweet grapefruit, over the course of 3 hours it blossomed- nose of peach, passion fruit, pineapple, hint of red berries and a zesty lime cream, on the palate gloriously opulent, enveloping and calming, deft presentation but with very serious and deep textures on the palate, with time honey-coated cold grey marbles, orange peel, sweet grapefruit note comes back into play, and an intense concentration of apricot, all of it culminating in a grand finish with stunning persistence and a fine long aftertaste with hints of rose petals wrapped around an intense apricot core, despite the sweetness there is very serious structure evident here for a long and interesting life- strong acids buried under a tantalizing sea of lime cream, the Auslese #9 is a favorite Haag of mine for having much of the great rich decadence of Haag's dessert wines- which have few peers- but also a great earthbound Spatlese-like structure, the best of both worlds- truly, and in 2019 that balance is maintained with a delivery that is just flat out sexy, this wine is always worth seeking out in any vintage- but that extra little bit of joy and purity reflective of the 2019 vintage should perhaps inspire a couple of extra halves into the shopping cart this year, as good as it gets.
  
  **(***), 2025-2050+, I think this one will be more accessible sooner than usual- but still take the customary 15+ years to fully develop.

  July 30, 2021 - Scored 99-100 at Robert Parker. Extremely blossom, elderflower. An excellent wine. Difficult to imagine how the wine is going to perform when it reaches the top in many years but difficult for me to imagine this wine can end with a score of 99-100. Personal preferences are different, but I prefer a 1. cru Sauternes or Tokaji. Same price level if you can live without Yquem.

  May 20, 2021 - The aroma had an intense entry of canned pineapple, mango lassi, peach and ginger with a slight orange peel tone. Very asserting and precise.
  
  The palate told me exactly what I had already suspected; 2019 is the fucking bomb.
  Indescribably superb balance of ripe, succulent fruit with a laser-focused acidity from start to finish.
  
  Just a blast of ripe yellow fruits that clashes as waves upon rocks on your palate with a pristine acidity and freshness. I hate myself for not buying more of these.
