March 30, 2024 - Earlier notes still apply, that tiny touch of flor is very pleasant here. Yum.

January 14, 2023 - Spanish fun day one (N&J's place, Canberra): From Coravin. Chalky, a little citrus, almond meal, slight saline, a slightly waxy quality with time a touch of meatiness. Tangy, slight alcohol warmth, midge of waxy texture, flavours a little muted, offering lemon and almond on the palate finishes a little short. Hmm

January 1, 2023 - Gold. Lovely and saline. Lemon - lightly preserved lemon. Long. Lovely balance richness. Impressive texture.

September 18, 2021 - TSA - Marco de Jerez (Zoom call): From Coravin. Salted lemons, garrigue, quite vibrant, slight wood glue notes with time. Medium plus acidity, has more breadth and a greater sense of 'thickness' than the Blanco de Hornillos, again citrus notes, the garrige note more present on the palate. Nice. Yum.

    November 20, 2020 - Palomino and PX.
Saline nose, touch of brown apple and caramel, lemon.
Full body, soft, creamy, low acidity, lemony edge and vanilla leesy notes. You really notice the low acidity f the grapes in a way you don’t with fino Sherry. Almost comes across like a low acidity Chardonnay.
Found it a bit to rich but left open over night it gained a freshness and this is actually really nice. Drank it with all kinds of things, it’s a very versatile food wine. This might be the future of Sherry.
