  December 9, 2022 - I was excited to see this hardly ever seen here Piedmont grape variety Grignolino which is known to be a lighter red. The Italians drink these types of wines at the table and sell all the top wines. Personally I love lighter reds. This was in fact light in colour, translucent, but big on tannin and alcohol. Weighed in at 14% alcohol. I didn't really enjoy it, nice on the attack but burns on the finish. I wonder if this is typical or if the winery pawned this off to foreign markets.I will keep my eye out for another Grignolino but will check the alcohol level before buying!!

  June 11, 2022 - Very pale, brick red. Quite light bodied. Red fruits with savory, herbal notes. Great with food.

  March 25, 2022 - Pale translucent red in the glass with a floral and strawberry nose. Strawberry and cranberry fruit in the palate light bodied with app acidity that produces a dry clean short finish

  May 16, 2021 - Maybe a little bit discreet but nice flavors of roses, cherries and almonds. Low tannins for Grignolino.

  May 2, 2021 - My first Grignolino and it is nice and light and translucent as I hoped. nice fresh attack, strawberry, good acidity. Little bit of tannin and alcohol on the finish, 14% abv, wish it was less
