Community Tasting Notes 5

February 26, 2024 - The flowery nose gets even better with its chocolate, black raspberries, herbs, and cherries as it develops in the glass. The wine is crisp, fresh, round, and loaded with fruit from start to finish. Drink from 2024-2034.

January 28, 2024 - A lovely small and fresh Bordeaux from a top vintage - we had it while cooking dinner. It’s elegant and with a healthy dose of tannin. Give it 5 years if you have some.

December 14, 2023 - Tout en jeunesse. Du poivrons et du fruits au nez et en bouche. Beaucoup de matière mais quand même des tannins approchables. En devenir.

August 25, 2023 - Quite a bit of bell pepper that dominates the nose (pyrazines?) and sort of overpowers the red fruits. Fortunately on the palate, there is little of that and very nice earthy soft fruits with gentle yet grippy tannins. Overall a good quality wine but just didn't like the nose.

June 8, 2020 - Blackberry, cassis, smoke, espresso and licorice notes on the nose combine well with the round, lush, soft, forward, ripe expressive, sweet fruits on the palate. This will be good close to release and will improve with a few years of age. 90-92 Pts
