April 16, 2024 - Popped five hours ago. Decanted immediately an poured back into the bottle. Put cork back an let sit at room temp. First smell gives dark fruits but not a powerful fruit smell Drying tannins on the palate Lasting finish but not necessarily a good tasting finish. (Not bad but not what u would want. Fruit vanishes an the Terroir just lingers ,earth flavors. Better to drink with food at this point. 20 min later the wine is becoming a bit more harmonious. Air dEf helped this wine out.

November 21, 2023 - Open bottle. Decant for an hour or so. Pour back into the bottle. An leave it in your regular refrigerator for 2 days. You will thank yourself later. Wine gets softer an more balanced.

November 18, 2023 - The Amises should have a party (Our house): Absolutely ready to drink in the narrowest sense, but with hindsight it seems a waste to have opened this as it didn't show any of the character or nuance I was hoping for, or which I got from the '16 in summer 2021. Rather plush, well-balanced in a ripe way, completely inoffensive.

May 31, 2023 - Very aromatic at the present moment. More than the last 7 bottles I’ve drank over the last 5 months or so. I can’t explain what it is but it is prevalent. I defiantly get dark fruits oak vanilla graphite etc. but I can’t explain everything that I’m getting this go round. Denis durantou did an amazing job. This is the last wine he made before he passed on. Every bottle I drink from here out will be extra special knowing that this was his last vintage. The taste lingers an the finish is very subtle yet subtlety powerful. I let it sit an a glass for an hour an half bottle poured into the decanter. Tannins are present but pretty soft

April 11, 2023 - This is a stretch to give it a 93 but I love it. It gets better with a few hours of air. Super soft an super sexy. If you see a bottle in the store buy 2 !!!!! U will thank me
