March 21, 2024 - Uncork the bottle 1 hour in advance. It is a good wine and exceeded my expectations. It has soft tannins and balanced flavors of plum, licorice and minerality. Affordable price.

February 29, 2024 - Bought 6 bottles in the owc at 25€ each and opened the first one this week.
50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot. 12 months maturation in oak barrels (33% new).
3h decant. Excellent Poujeaux vintage; I agree with Neil Martins (93-95p) black cherries, Sucklings (92-94p) lavender, Jane Ansons (92p) grippy tannins, and Falstaffs (93p) tobacco notes.

June 30, 2023 - From a half bottle. A generous nose of blackcurrant, cedar and spices. An even more generous, super-concentrated fruit and baking-spice body. Hotly alcoholic on the finish, a little too much for me. A valiant effort to make a Bordeaux as fleshy as a California Cab...
