April 20, 2024 - This is such a classic Chassagne showing real elegance and complexity as compared to say the raw power of PYCM Puligny or Meursault. Really grew in the glass with very finely detailed flavors of lemons, minerals and salted butter. The finish is lifted and beautifully complex with a saturated intensity that builds on the palate. Great stuff and drinking beautifully now (off the list at Claud).

November 15, 2023 - Top notch showing. Great lift and energy here, with minerality I would’ve pegged for a Puligny over a C-M, this PYCM is a well crafted and spritely array of citrus juice and white stone flavors. This is superb, not only in its infancy, but with the promise of even more positive development in the upcoming years. I’m really loving the push and layered oomph of these 2019s. This will age wonderfully, but offers compelling intensity and flavor expansion even now. 2019 strokes again! Worth seeking out indeed.

November 11, 2023 - Duck, duck, abortion!; 11/11/2023-11/17/2023: That awesome dried matchstick note with awesome white fruits to give. So aromatic with the fruits and a good grounding of subtle earth and somehow a tinge of lime freshness. Pretty white and yellow flowers on the nose as well.

Flavors of yellow fruits with an attractive bitterness, a dried earthy bitterness, with bitter minerals on the finish. This is so giving on the palate, a complete pleasure to taste.
