Community Tasting Notes 10

August 17, 2016 - 16% on the label! - but blends into the fig, prune, leather, smoke nose. Fully integrated tannins, smooth mouth-feel with all the complexity of the nose on the palate. Drinking perfectly now.

    December 24, 2012 - Drinking well.

April 19, 2012 - Scared by the 16%, but very pleasantly surprised - nose of spice, prunes, smoke, lovely palate of tobacco, plums, and loads of black cherry and blackberry: whilst alcoholic, surprisingly integrated and very enjoyable - great with pork fillet and jersey royals

March 16, 2012 - Ripe and spicy cherry, fig and prune. Earthy and rustic but overall comes off as clean and well made.

November 7, 2010 - A bit too much alcohol throughout. Hedonistic and over the top. Decanted prior.
