June 11, 2020 - van Wees / vW, The Ultimate Whisky Company, Saint & Peat, Heavily Peated, Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky, Distillery Bunnahabhain, From Refill Hogsheads, Bottled 2019, Dark Blue Label, 55.0%.
I guess it is like all vW / Ultimate bottlings: Uncolored and Non-chillfiltered.
    EAN: 8719689209230
It is the Second Edition for "Sinterklaas", a Dutch children feast in December each year.
And it is the same whisky as the 2020 Peaty Single Malt Bevrijdingswhisky for the 75th Anniversary of the Dutch liberation from the Nazis.
    TN:
    Lovely peated and smoky whisky.
Clean, no faults and everything in balance, even at 55%. Needs no water.
Not very complex or with a great length, but a very nice easy drinker for weekdays.
    A steal for only € 38 / 70cl.
