February 28, 2022 - Deep ruby, mild aromas of red and black fruit, higher alcohol cassis, olives, bramble, balanced flavors or earth and muted darker fruits, ending with an explosive tingle of anise driven cassis with medium finish of tannins and acid. Outstanding value @$18

January 14, 2021 - Garnet, medium/full body, aromas of black currant, funk, and spices. Balanced dark fruit, hint of mocha, funky earth, and oak, moderate tannins and acid. Superb structure. Excellent qpr @ < $20

June 21, 2020 - I had this in a virtual tasting. The wine was shipped from the winery. Great drink, very CA, very fruit forward. But balanced and with a backbone which made it more interesting. Good drink.
