January 28, 2023 - Brought this to Ota-ya, great BYO sushi place in Lambertville, NJ. Chilled, PnP.
From 2021 notes: "Medium brass color. Nose was notable, showing ripe orchard fruits, brioche/toast, floral notes. Smooth and layered palate showing baked pears, lemon candy, orange peel, caramel, vanilla oak(?), spice/ginger and almond...a lot going on here. Rich but not heavy. Layered through the mid palate and finish. Medium/full body, long finish."
Good showing and mostly consistent with prior notes. This one showed more almond, marzipan along with the orchard fruit/pears. In a good spot now -

April 2, 2022 - Serious, I have regretting buying this wine for the last 6 months without ever tasting it. My assumption was that it was going to be a waxing earthy lean strange wine. I finally broke down and opened it tonight. I am so happy that I did and boy this is ever proof to never judge a book by its cover. The wine is delicious. Much fresher than I expected. White Mushrooms, peaches, apples, honey, almost chenin character. Still very youthful and frankly infanataside.
