May 2, 2020 - Nice medium weight Bordeaux. Still young in colour with only a little bricking on the rim. Lightly earthy, with some cherry and plum fruit. Not hugely complex on the nose. Palate is medium bodied as well, nicely balanced, with earthy dark currant and black plum fruit. Juicy and slightly sweet, with dry tannins and a decent medium finish. Very nice.

    December 21, 2019 - Note: I use a scale on which 85 represents a very good wine.

Great bottle for the winter solstice. Decanted this one for a little while (30 min). Opened up nicely. Well-balanced.
Medium weight as some have noted, but easy drinking.

July 13, 2019 - Lovely medium weight bordeaux. just enough frui t, just enough earth and just enough complexity. for a $20 or so this was a real pleasure.

March 17, 2018 - Decanted briefly before dinner (grilled rack of lamb). Incense, blackberry liqueur, blue fruit aromas with a wonderful floral overtone. Very pretty. Medium-bodied, with some tannin to shed, but abundant mixed fruit on the palate. A hint of iron in the finish. A very nice match for the lamb. 90-91 for both Domino and I. Just now entering its window...now to 2023+.

March 16, 2017 - Tasted after the 2001. Spicy nose, a bit green and herbal. Again spicy on the palate, hard tannins, not much fruit. 85-87
