March 1, 2024 - This is a refined, well made wine. Primarily a GSM, but with several interesting varietal additions, most notably Viognier. The nose is dark fruit, but has a “meaty” character. Body is full with great legs. The taste is well balanced, with a bright attack and dry lasting finish. It holds up very well for a 7-year old wine.

October 20, 2023 - Red & black cherries, plum, & raspberry. Juicy & ripe but not sweet. A bit of spice & a hint of oak with soft tannins. Medium bodied & a great sipper that’s got surprising complexity. Very enjoyable red blend. 40% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 20% Mourvedre, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Petite Syrah, 3% Counoise, 2% Viognier. I’m a sucker for a red with a little Viognier & I give it credit for the soft smooth edge to this.

July 15, 2023 - This is a very tasty red blend from California.

Ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.

Medium plus in body with a nice mouthfeel.

Dry and fruity on the palate with medium acidity.

Showing cherries, currants, plums, cooked strawberries, spices, oak, light vanilla, spices, dark chocolates, coffee, peppercorn, earth and black tea.

Nice length on the finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

This 8 year old is drinking very nicely now, and will continue to age nicely in the next 7 years.

Spicy with nice complexity. Tasty and easy drinking. Rich, elegant and fruit forward.

Good right out of the bottle, and better after 3 hours of airtime.

Good by itself as a sipping wine or with food. A good party wine too.

Grapes are grown in Sierra Foothills and Sonoma County.

A blend of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petite Sirah.

    14.7% alcohol by volume.

    91 points.

    $40.
