  September 23, 2021 - Still developing. My third bottle in the past 6 months. New-world-ish, as expected of this vintage. Very narrow temperature range where it is in a good spot; not astringent (too cold) or flabby (too warm). I believe it will be a good bourgogne in a year or two. Decent QPR at under $25.

  February 10, 2021 - This pours youthfully deep in color, between purple and ruby, transparent at the core with flecks of pink toward the rim. The nose shows some reduction but also great complexity and concentration of fruit. Animal fur, moss, blueberry, crushed chalk, overripe strawberry, purple licorice, and a touch of rubbery reduction waft gently. The palate is youthful and structured with medium acid and medium minus tannin. The finish shows a touch of alcohol poking out and a little licorice. This is a tad marked by the vintage with deep concentrated fruit and a touch of alcohol poking out, though it undoubtedly has some complexity. All in all this is an enjoyable Bourgogne Rouge that is drinkable today and can likely age as well. Almost 91 for me.

  January 24, 2021 - This is a nice entry-level Bourgogne. Very dense, open and polished. Drink now and enjoy.
