January 8, 2020 - The wine looks dark red. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like prune, black currant (cassis), mineral and black pepper. The taste is full of blackberry and a bit of cedar and oak. It is a mouth filler with still a very present acidity not everyone likes. The wine finishes long.

December 21, 2013 - Decanted immediately prior to drinking. Had at first a distinct chlorine aroma, not very nice. Then it disappeareed rather suddenly and left a dark mature, lush and rich wine, only very lightly raisiny. Still excellent 24 hours later.
