November 12, 2023 - A magnificent Mas de Daumas Gassac vertical from the private cellars of Allard Jakobs (Restaurant Sinck, Amsterdam, NL): Single bottle. Considerable colour evolution, evolved honeyed aromas but no traces of oxidation. Not a charmer but still correct.

May 12, 2018 - Tørket frukt, grilla sitroner, litt oksidativt preg, ananas, litt nøtt. Tippet 80-talls. Chennin Blanc på grunn av oksidativt preg. (2% CB, mest petit manseng, viognier og lokaler sorter). 90-91

November 23, 2016 - textured, slightly oxidized, honeyed, nutty, overall very interesting & complex white blend from a reputable producer .

May 11, 2016 - Monthly Tasting Group HWS #109; Vertical of 10 vintages Mas de Daumas Blanc plus some other whites. (By DJ): The color is almost orange. In the bouquet stone fruits like peach and apricots and caramel. On the palate honey, raisins, marzipan, nuts and some oxidized impressions. A touch of sweetness, good acidity and some bitterness in the finish. Good length. Mature and special in a positive sense.

April 22, 2016 - I initially thought this wine was oxidised; it's quite an orange/brown colour in the glass. I went back to it an hour later and it had changed utterly; quite honeyed on the nose, and a palate of baked apples and quince. Nice acidity and a bit of salinity. Very persistent. Overall, pretty pleasant but I won't be hanging on to the remaining bottles for much longer.
