March 10, 2024 - Day 2: Deeply fragrant with crushed dark berry, forest, pencil. Med-full black plum, smokey earth tones, chocolate, mineral and herb. Longish balanced finish. Very enjoyable. Drink or hold

May 24, 2023 - Not liking this quite as much as some fellow reviewers.
On nose: tobacco, tomato plant and a ghost of damp earth.
On palate: all above flavour notes accounted for, as well as greenish blackberries, asian spices, dark bing cherries, and a note of black pepper, on a lean body with very mild tannins....relatively easy to drink and forward for a 4 year old Bordeaux.....
Hmmm....86 % Merlot and 14% Cabernet Franc....aaand that's it!...mystery solved.....I am spoiled for communes with good amounts of Cabernet Sauvignon....just not my kind of Bordeaux.

    May 24, 2023 - medium color
Nose: red fruits right up front, camdied cherry, liquorice, fresh herbs (maybe dill?), plum, hints of tobacco
Medium to full body, medium acid, great structure. Could use more time in the bottle I think. Medium to long finish.
