Community Tasting Notes 2

January 12, 2023 - This Barbera continues to exceed my rising expectations. It's been 2.5 years since I last tasted it. It remains fresh and the fruit seems actually to be growing in vividness and deliciousness. I think these will age for at least the mid-term on its fruit and acidity. It could potentially develop more complexity even if it is a joy to drink currently.

August 15, 2020 - Small & intimate Covid-era dinner (Chez moi): Despite being sandwiched between 2 very formidable wines, this lovely and very enjoyable Tortonese, acquitted itself well. It has real vibrance and freshness and admirable depth. I struggle to articulate the difference between Barbera from Tortona and those from Alba or Asti but it is apparent to me that there is a real difference.
