  March 8, 2024 - Wet stone, bitter yeast/fresh baked bread, lemon peel, orange peel and grapefruit juice on the nose. Medium intensity of aromas. The palate adds some stone fruit - mostly ripe white peach but a bit of ripe apricot too. Finishes with bitterness and more wet stone. Medium intensity of flavors. Subtle and elegant; but complex enough to be interesting. Made to be paired with food.
  
  Medium body with medium + acid and a medium finish. As this is a very elegant wine, IMO it's best pairing is food prepared very simply. We had it with fried asparagus, and it was good; but it really shined with traditional edomae sushi. Drink now, probably not going anywhere.

  June 26, 2020 - Ungemein würzige Nase; eher grüner Veltliner als Silvaner: rote Grapefruit, Pfirsich, Banane, frisch gemähtes Gras. Deutliche Säure im Mund; danach mehr Frucht.
