    April 5, 2023 - Enjoyable now!

October 22, 2022 - A one day open bottle, i.e. this time a more developed wine than for the previous tasting note.
Open, juicy nose. On the palate strawberry juice with structure. Raspberries in midpalate. Then slone. Nice acidity (medium+). Medium tannins, sandpapery, rumbling around. Some licorice in the aftertaste.

September 29, 2022 - Garnet, medium intensity. Developed, closed nose.
Dry, medium(+) acidity, medium fine grained, almost floury, tannins. Medium body. 14,5%. Concentrated fruit of blue, sweetly matured, berries. Broad shouldered and a bit generous impression.

October 2, 2021 - Completely agree with the previous note. Needs more time or a good bit of air.

Better on day two - really enjoyed the strawberry and earthy herbal notes. Seems to have enough of everything for at least moderate aging.

April 3, 2021 - Dark ruby, clear at the edge. Nose of black cherry, currants, dusty soil, savory herbs. Needed about 30 min in the glass for it to open up.

On the palate are notes of sour cherry, black cherry, gravel.

Medium to medium plus acidity, medium minus body, medium alcohol, soft tannins. The finish is short but pleasant.

For me the acidity sticks out a bit at the moment, so a bit of bottle age may improve things.

Day 2: On the nose the nose is ripe strawberry, almost strawberry preserves but not quite. Strawberry leaves and sous bois as well.

On the palate bone dry. The acidity is pronounced and lacks a strong back bone to help balance it out.

It’s not bad but I prefer Beaujolais with more structure like the ones from Moulin-a-Vent and Morgon.
