Community Tasting Notes 2

  • peteramartens Likes this wine: 89 points

June 3, 2021 - Dark ruby red colour. Powerful plum and smoke/chocolate aromas. Lots more dark red fruit taste and surprisingly juicy acidity after heavier aromas. Medium but well-integrated tannins. Oak is noticeable but not excessive. A bit of a raisin aftertaste. Great pairing for smoked sausage pizza.

February 14, 2021 - Aroma of licorice, fruit forward, atypical for Ontario reds, complex and balanced, needed to breathe a bit, delicious!
