October 1, 2022 - 50th Birthday Tasting (Vesterbro): Lovely and developed sweet kirsch-style fruit but with a good depth and plenty of length. The alcohol does show itself but not overly so. There is a lovely florality to this wine and a lovely herbal complexity. For its powerful style it is a wine in a lovely balance where everything is just turned up :-)

August 2, 2017 - From a mag that was given 8hrs slow ox. I love the regular 03 Pegau cuvee but this was very different. Much lighter and with more stewed strawberry notes from the 03 vintage than the regular cuvee and noticably less herbs. A little funk (fine with me) but much more heat on the finish too than the regular cuvee. Although this is 10x the price, I would rather drink the regular cuvee and think that will improve further but this need to be drunk up. Drink to 2020. 92-93pts

July 15, 2017 - From magnum. Uncorked and left to slow ox for 8 hours then double decanted back into the bottle 4 hours before serving. Lovely and surprisingly elegant nose of flowers and sweet fruits on the nose. Richly/Luxuriously fruited on the palate but still surprisingly elegant. No question you can feel the alcohol but it's not at all OTT. No idea how this would age from here but it was certainly in a good place tonight.

March 21, 2016 - Laurence Feraud describes this as "my Musigny" and while it packs a bigger punch, the complexity, transparency and grip are very much in the Musigny vein. A brilliant wine and worthy of its reputation
