March 24, 2024 - United Polaris wine. Black cassis and plum with faintly sweet spice, good weight and balance with plenty of fun now.

March 23, 2024 - Too sweet for me, but party goers liked it. My girl does too. Way overpriced, though.

March 14, 2024 - Served on United flight (Hong Kong to San Francisco). Deep dark magenta color. Plum, raspberry, cream cheese frosting, and subtle thyme. Dry, satiny palate, with fine acidity. Full, medium intensity tannins on the longish finish.

This is a terrific QPR. I liked it more than a week ago when I had it going in the other direction. It would be even better on the ground. The acid and tannins both have a good linger.

March 8, 2024 - PNP. Very very deep magenta color. Baby powder, grape leaf, black cherry, pumpkin pie, and apple core. Smooth, dry, full bodied palate. Firm tannins on the longish finish.

Served in Polaris cabin on my United flight from San Francisco to Hong Kong. I suspect this would be better at home. The nose and palate were distorted by the altitude. Decent drinker nonetheless.

June 24, 2023 - This is a much bigger wine than I remember. Lots of time left in the bottle and it will likely get better. I will hold off and drink my next one Ina a year.
Good color and body. Very fruit forward but has many other flavors as well. With time it will be more complex and softer.
