January 12, 2006 - The bottle had a thin layer of sediment running the length of the bottle. Color is very dark, almost black. Excellent strong aromas. Taste starts off with strong tannins that mellow very quickly to a good dry fruity finish. A hint of black cherry. This wine is definitely ready for consuming now. It may age for the rest of the year, but I can't see it improving much more from sitting in your cellar.
