Community Tasting Notes 2

April 11, 2022 - Oooh, nicely done Australia. We don't get alot of Australian wines (except a certain 2 buck kangaroo brand that shall remain nameless).
Almost opaque, brick red, glassy ruby rimmed.
Nose is cherry jolly rancher, ginger and clove.
Palate starts off red plum, quickly evolving to black currant, cedar and pencil lead. Ripe fruit, nice acidity, firm tannins, but not overwhelming, decent finish. I'd pay a whole lot more for this and be thrilled with my purchase. It's not just yummy, it's a really good cab with plenty of complexity.
