October 16, 2023 - Pretty much in agreement with the note below, I want just a touch more acid to really make this sing. Still a very nice wine though - maybe when the sweetness dissolves a bit it will come into that perfect balance.

May 13, 2023 - Wow. Very poised and sharp but sweet. Crushed stones and lime , explosive finish. This is old school Auslese that is lighter than many Kabinetts of today. It’s perfumed and crystalline and light yet so full of flavor and exciting. All the hallmarks of a legendary wine.

Day 4: Nose of rock candy, red and green apples, lime, tangerine, powered stone, mint and other green. Honeysuckle. Light and airy with an intoxicating combo of fruit and stones. Light and crisp on the palate with lime and honey and rock candy and tangerine. Very airy - enters a bit soft but comes into focus and is just pinpoint and delightful. Playful. Lots of citrus on the end into the finish with tight minerals and crushed stones. Nose - 5/6, Palate - 5.5/6, Finish - 5.5/6, Je ne Sais Quoi - 1.5/2 = 17.5/20.

June 25, 2021 - Light honey, fragrant, if slightly reductive nose, a very light and beautifully fine, light, Auslese the likes of which one doesn’t see often. Delicious.

June 18, 2021 - Coravin. Light yellow-green; high intensity aromatics with lime, slate, white flower, peach; palate is medium bodied, balanced sweetness, incredible balanced but intense acidity which gives incredible vibrancy and slight effervescence, low 7.0% alcohol, lemon-lime, slate minerality, persistent and deep flavors; finish is long, long, and complex. Absolutely delicious, full of energy, balanced and deep, and one of the best Auslese rieslings I've had. I'm glad I tried one young, and that I have more. 97
This is intense, even with food. This really needs a decade to settle down. It may not get that much time in my cellar.

May 30, 2021 - Absolutely fantastic bottle of an almost impossibly light auslese. Bursting with energy and mouth coating lime, wet slate, piquant peach, and Asian pear. The irresistible quality to this wine is hard to quantify. There is so much here, but the key will be to hide them away so that I don't drink them all young!
