  June 17, 2022 - Lunch at La Trompette: My contribution and first time trying this producer. Nose was the one that stood out among the wines with an appealing kirsch note, but on the palate it was clean and understated without much trace of alcohol. Very much in my style, my number three for the lunch.

  June 17, 2022 - Melvin's La Trompette Lunch (La Trompette, Chiswick, London): Quite muted nose although there is forest floor and a whiff of menthol. Medium bodied and quite alive on the mid-palate with cassis, graphite, forest floor and hint of blueberry. Clean wine making and good terroir expression. Midway through its drinking window but not hurry to drink up.

  January 28, 2017 - Dobbeltdekantert, drukket 3 t senere. Mørk og tett farge. Noe anonym nese. Trenger tid i glasset. Noe bjørnebær etterhvert. Strukturert og tannisk munnfølelse. Virker lukket. Vent 5 år (minst).

  January 23, 2017 - From MG: quite yong, dark, oak is not fully integrated. Very typical CR, albeit on the dark side, with roasted meat, olivers, pepper dominating. Needs time, from this format certainly has the stuffing to go on 10 years - I would wait five, at least.
