September 26, 2020 - Same juice as the Skeetfield Chardonnay, but aged in a different vessel. Nose of apple, white miso, with a hint of spring onion. Flavours of honeydew melon, peanut, and spring onion. Mouthfeel shows a touch of yeast, some skin tannin, minerality, acidity, a hint of creaminess, and well-integrated oak. All of these elements have an influence, but none dominate. I'm feeling something different with every sip. Lovely to drink now, but I suspect it will reveal even more virtues as it ages.
