  November 4, 2023 - Deep ruby in color; black cherries and graphite; high acidity; high tannins; tastes like licorice, cherries, and wet slate with a long finish. Nellie doesn't like it. Jason says it's ok. A little too bitter and not as complex as I'd like.

  August 24, 2022 - Deep ruby with a garnet rim.
  Tea and sassafras nose
  Some grassy dark fruit with a dry woody finish.
  Decent dryish red

  February 9, 2022 - Dark ruby hue, nearly opaque with thick tears. Aromas of dried cherry, ripe plum, toasted vanilla and yogurt covered raisin. There’s a brief moment of dense red fruit and dried herbs on the palate before mouth coating, grippy tannins overwhelm the mouth. Give this plenty of time to open up and mellow.

  January 30, 2022 - light body, tannins are strong, but well balanced with a spot of brightness. Dark, understated fruit . Refreshing. Unfortunately thin on day 2.
