November 4, 2022 - Agree like a sour beer. Citrus, tea, not an intense experience and very enjoyable.

September 21, 2022 - Nose of herbal tea, tomato concentrate, maggi. Nice. Black tea. Caramel. Ricola. Tannins. Very interesting. Not very quaffabble, lacks freshness. Lacks acidity.

December 26, 2021 - I have to say this right away…this reminds me of a citrus forward sour beer, in a good way. The nose is like ripe grapefruit rind freshly squeezed into the air. Acidity is sharp, but not overbearing. That rind quality comes back in the palate with a bit of lemon and orange in there, like a group dance. I can see it developing nicely.

September 17, 2021 - Popped and poured. Aromas of peach and baby aspirin. Rich and lightly oxidative flavors of tangerine and apricot. Kumquat and grass in the finish. Distinctive, firm backbone, some complexity, beautiful balance of bitter and sweet.

Excellent now, with potential for further development.

April 11, 2021 - I love wines from Chile because I never have a clue what to expect - oddball notes and new combinations of smells and tastes.

Molina del Ciego is Chilean Semillon and smells like soft Peachie O’s and sour tangerine Tang powder. Swerve to minty menthol and white pepper. Big orange tannins and celery bitters for a nice farewell.
