February 24, 2022 - I thought this was disappointing. Plenty of vanilla from the oak treatment and the fruit doesn’t really have the depth to balance that out. It comes across as a weaker version of a Chianti, without any of the interesting spice, leather, and/or herbal elements that can be found in the Italian wines.
