November 1, 2020 - Deep, dark reddish-purple in color; almost opaque. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, blueberries & plums with overtones of earthy/dusty & floral notes, herbs, minerals, spices, some cocoa notes & a hint of oak & vanilla in the background. Medium-full bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, plush, ripe fruit flavors of dark cherries, blackberries & plums with cocoa, herbs, spices, minerals, oak & vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present with decanting & extended airing but may develop further with additional aging at which time, it may merit a higher score (92+).

July 8, 2020 - Needs more time in the bottle to fill out, but really think this wine has potential to improve another 2pts. Nice color, medium aroma with enticing cherry flavors. Needs a 4hr decant.
