Community Tasting Notes 1

  • primitivo Does not like this wine: 85 points

February 2, 2022 - There is nothing wrong with this wine, unless you are expecting it to taste like a Ripasso. Which I was, even tho it only cost $12.99 CAD. I suppose at that price point Ripasso is a bit to much to expect. The wine was lighter in color than I expected, and there were none of the raisin/prune tones that usually accompany a Ripasso. Body a bit thin, short finish. A decent table wine at this price point, but not a Ripasso.
