July 14, 2020 - This is a white wine made like a Vin Jaune in the island of Naxos. The variety used is called Asproudes. The wine was left in a barrel under flor for 10 yeards and 6 months in a stone cave. The wine was bottled on March 2020.
The color is bright and crystal clear straw yellow.
The wine shows high intensity in the nose, oxidative notes very much in tune with the style, wood varnish, dried stone fruit and some spicy notes too.
In the palate, the wine shows strength, hgih acidity, dried stone fruit, apricot, peach, a lot of indian spices, curry, turmeric, medium body and finish.
This is a solid effort, good for those into Manzanilla and VIn Jaune.
