January 28, 2024 - Typisk ung Bordeaux Myk munnfølelsr. Litt tannin Søtlig avslutning. Oljet ettersmak. Gikk bra til bankebiff og kos.
Tror ikke den har alt for mange år i kjelleren før frukten dempes.

December 31, 2023 - Ordered onboard NCL. Restrained mark up. Still needs some air to open up, so have them open it as early as possible; but the merlot-predominant blend doesn't need as much air or age as a Cabernet Sauvignon.
Dark fruit, blackberry on the nose.
Not overly sweet. Taste of dark cherry. Nice minerality. Not a long finish. A good choice onboard when you can't age a wine yourself. -

July 18, 2023 - It is, what it is.
One more bottle to go... It's like a marathon of no excitement!
I'm thinking that buying a case of anything mentioned in the Wine Spectator Top 100, it's kind of like getting a stock tip from a buddy, whom you think knows the markets, but after measurable time, you discover he's not more knowledgeable than are you!! 😂
Again, buyer beware!

July 7, 2023 - I have started to drink this, and give it away, as it seems to be fading quickly.
Can't get it above 87... Likely deserves 85 at this juncture tops.
I've a few more bottles to quaf, then, onto something else.
This is a decent wine, but there's a reason it's not seen 1855!
That said, it's a decent wine, and, it's $20!!!

April 14, 2023 - Poor example of a Bordeaux, surprisingly bad. Puts me off trying more from the region.
