July 14, 2013 - What this wine could have been or wanted to be...just never got there for me. Clearly had moments of solid character, but the backbone just didnt stand up. Way to much finesse in the bottle. A little bit more oomph would have been the right touch...No different day 2. The Venge name on the model over promises and under delivered making the price point way to high for this juice. Will be a long time again before buying another one of his wines..

July 25, 2012 - This was P&P at a wine dinner, it has geld in the bottle nicely, oak to fruit is right on right now.. I wish I had more of this to drink!
    As it was consumed quickly..

September 11, 2011 - Decanted for several hours. Color deep garnet. Nose of tobacco, leather, earthiness. Palate is smooth, balanced, easy drinking just by itself. Tannins are subtle, finish is rather short and falls off. All in all, a nice wine. I only had this one bottle that I bought at the winery several years ago. 5,12,15,6=88

December 31, 2007 - Purple color to the rim w/ black and blue berry fruit nose and palate. Some plum as well, and while no significant secondary notes yet, it's got great depth and texture. Don't know if I can keep my last one for very long but it's got 7+ yrs no problem.

October 6, 2007 - Cab, Merlot, Petit Verdot blended to create a wonderful well balanced wine. This wine can be drunk now or held for some years. It is velvety smooth with good fruit and soft tannins.
