February 13, 2024 - Color: Medium yellow with a very slight copper hue. Nose: Herbs, yellow fruit. Mouth: Honey in the finish. Just the aroma not the sweetness. A more than average smooth mouthfeel. Very good expressiveness and length. Tangerine, too. It is not as vibrant as I had wished for. I suspect this wine is gradually becoming a bit tired. To drink, now.

October 28, 2023 - We had our New York friends out for our annual Halloween dinner. A few years ago when the last of group turned 70 we stopped with the costumes. I opened this wine as well as well as a Fabian Coche Meursault about an hour before my guests arrived. I found this wine to be dull, tired. It had some flavors: apple, pear, melon but nothing stood out. To be honest, although my guests were happy with the wine selection, I wasn't and Kept going back into the house (80 degrees in NJ yesterday so we sat on the patio.) where I had opened a bottle of Hobbs chardonnay which my wife and I really enjoyed. Sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do.

August 17, 2023 - The color is really vibrant. Herbs on the nose. Apple, as well. Some pear, too. It is better on the nose than on the palate. On the palate it is a bit broad and almost wishy-washy. There is some honey aroma. Lacking a bit acidity and structure overall. I would drink up.

May 5, 2023 - Color: Medium yellow. Nose: Fresh, yellow fruit, floral. Mouth: Still fresh but not like in a Chablis. A slight bitterness which is nice. Excellent expressiveness and length. Honey in the finish; without the sweetness, of course. Can be stored for another 3 years however it is very good, now.
